From component design and prototyping to manufacturing, testing, finishing and warehousing, we offer solutions that meet the highest quality and safety standards. History & Expertise

Our history dates back to 1994, when Mr. Nalla Gounder Thangavel, our founder and business owner, began his professional life as a non-ferrous scrap trader. At the time when MNCS’s including KSB, Flow serve, and others established plants in Coimbatore, the city was beginning to make a name for itself as a major producer of pumps and electric motors. In 2004, our founder started a business entity called M/s. Sri Balaji Traders, focusing on dealing non-ferrous metals.

He achieved success in the market by supplying the majority of the Raw Materials needed by the Pumps Industry to create their Rotating Component (Aluminum Rotors). By 2017, M/s Sri Balaji Traders had purchased a facility for Aluminium Pressure die casting and had established its own manufacturing business as M/s Surya Die Cast, with a renewed concentration on the pump industries. The ability of Mr. Thangavel, Mohan Prasad and in order to expand his marketing efforts internationally, he was able to rebrand M/s. Sri Balaji Traders, the parent company, as CPEC GLOBAL (Coimbatore Precision Engineering Components).

Suppliers Code of Conduct

CPEC has committed relationship with our customers across the globe, to achieve this morale and keep our words all our Supplier Partners should possess a strong standard of integrity, ethical values, respect, responsibility and creativity. Our goal is to ensure that our suppliers provide a safe work environment, exercise good labour practices, use environmentally responsible manufacturing processes, and reduce the environmental impact on their operations.

To ensure that suppliers conduct business with a high degree of integrity and in a socially and environmentally responsible manner, all of CPEC’s suppliers are expected to adhere to the Supplier Code of Conduct.

CPEC considers collaboration with the suppliers is an important part of its success and therefore strives to operate as an integrated team with Suppliers. The selection of Suppliers is based not only on the quality and competitiveness of their products and services, but also their adherence to social, ethical and environmental principles. CPEC VAM & Supplier Code of Conduct helps us to select business partners who follow these principles and business practices that are consistent with our company’s values.

Transparency in Supply chain

At CPEC Supply chain operations is an important part of our businesses and so is our structure, our structure is designed to enable transparency, fairness and accountability – all projects’ representations are reviewed and are updated in the dashboard that could be reviewed both by the Customers as well as the suppliers. As a purchaser of goods and services, both directly and indirectly from suppliers, we are committed to the provide standards of integrity and social responsibility within our company operations and throughout our global supply chain. We believe in treating everyone in our business and our supply chain with dignity and respect. We choose to partner/associate with suppliers who hold these same standards and values.

All goods that are shipped can be provided with names of the brands, Customer or from a blank out sender. This is could also be arranged to keep the sender’s information confidential when goods are shipped directly with the end users.

We are enhancing training, particularly for procurement staff and others making purchasing decisions at CPEC for a good progress. To better understand our supply chain, we are also committed to conduct on-site audits now that most Covid-19 travel restrictions are easing.
